EcO2 CA Bag

The EcO2 CA bag
EcO2 has developed an unique packaging method; the EcO2 Controlled Atmosphere bag (CA bag). This method is based on the principle of lower vacuum pressure and applying the Controlled Atmosphere Technique. The EcO2 CA bag consists of a liner and a bigbag. This brand new CA bag has been developed for a better storage and quality preservation of packed commodities. It can be used for packaging of various food products like nuts, coffee, rice and seeds, but is also suitable for powders and chemicals.

Controlled Atmosphere is based on a low-oxygen environment and is widely used for controlling insects in a variety of food ingredients as well in conventional products. The commodities in the EcO2 CA bags are packed under low oxygen conditions (1-2%) ensuring no discoloration and ageing along with preventing insect re-infestation possibilities. The lower vacuum pressure results in less breakage, less clumping and less damage of the commodities during transport. A vacuum and flush system  is used to control the composition of the atmosphere inside the liner. The commodities are packed in various sizes of liners and bigbags which results in less handling and unloading/loading of the packaging. The CA packaging method offers you a higher quality preservation of the product, better storage conditions and less handling.
