More and more countries introduce rigorous
Quarantine and Pre-Shipment regulations that apply to the goods
that enter their country (Japan, China, New Zealand, Australia,
Mexico, Canada and the United States of America). The new International
Standards for Phytosanitary Measures no. 15 describes that wooden
packaging material need to be treated with Heattreatment to ensure
that the risk of a plague in the international trade sector is kept
as low as possible.
The “Stichting Markering Houten Verpakkingen” (SMHV)
is established in the Netherlands and must monitor that wooden packaging
materials comply with the requirements of the ISPM no. 15. The SMHV
also looks after certifying companies to carry out treatments in
accordance with national and international regulations.
The ISPM no. 15 guidelines can be of major influence for your company.
EcO2 is known with both national as well as
international regulations and offers a fast and efficient non-toxic
solution you with our Heattreatment and QPS Treatment. The Heattreatment
is used to disinfect wooden packaging materials. The QPS Treatment
is a propriety system and used to disinfect containers, bulkgoods,
general cargo and big bags, containing wooden packaging materials
and dunnage. Besides, EcO2 joined the SMHV
and is certified to treat all your wooden packaging materials and
to mark to wood. We are also able to provide certificates for China
and Australia if these are necessary.
