EcO2 HEATTREATMENT ®

The QPS regulation (for example the ISPM no. 15) must ensure that the risk of a plague in the international trade sector is kept as low as possible. The QPS regulation describes that all the wooden packaging materials must be insect free before it enters the country.

With our EcO2 Heattreatment technique we are able to treat all wooden packaging materials and dunnage in accordance with internatioal regulations.

The treatment takes place in a climate chamber in one of our wood terminals. The wood can be delivered for treament after making an appointment and is ready the next day. After treatment the wood is marked in accordance with the ISPM no. 15 guidelines. You also receive a treatment certificate of every treated party. It is also possible to treat large quantities of wooden packaging materials at once. The treatment certificate will be made at the moment that a part of the treated party will be transported. Note that treated wood for Australia needs to be shipped within 3 weeks after treatment. The wood is now ready for problem free transportation across the world.

When you have wooden packaging materials and dunnage together with the goods they are protecting then the EcO2 QPS TREATMENT is sufficient.
