EcO2 QPS TREATMENT ®

More and more countries require stronger demands of the goods that are imported in their country; they will maintain the regulations according the IPPC guidelines. These guidelines regulate the Quarantine and Pre Shipment (QPS) regulation ISPM no. 15. The QPS regulation has to take care that the international trade minimizes the risk of spreading and/or introducing a pest plague in the country. The regulation includes specific demands for wood and packaging materials. These demands must take care of wood and packaging materials free of insects.

EcO2 has developed an utmost quick and efficient technique, which meet the demands of the QPS regulations, the EcO2 QPS TREATMENT ®. This technique is able to treat wood and packaging materials together with goods. The technique is a combination of heat and low-oxygen. The treatment meets the requirements of the temperature demands of the QPS regulations and the low-oxygen level prevents the goods from oxidation. The duration of the treatment is 24 hours for both bulk good as well as containers.
